Hid Light Kits
PIAA HID CONVERSION KITS
H1 HID
The PIAA H1 HID Conversion Kit consists of two bulbs, two ballasts, two igniters and the appropriate wiring harnesses. Designed to be used in a wide range off vehicles from sports, suv’s and sedan’s.
H4 HID
The PIAA H4 HID Conversion Kit has the ability to provide the driver with a high and low beam function through the HID bulb with the same beam spread that effect you would get from a halogen bulb. In many other cheaper versions off high and low beam hids the bulb is moved with a solenoid which requires constant power when operating and can often cause power overload problems. This is not a problem with the piaa bulb as the system works through the bulb in a very effective way that keeps a constant power usage avoiding any excesssive power demands. Applications range from sports cars to full size trucks and SUV’s to motorcycles. All automotive kits include two bulbs, two ballasts, two igniters and the appropriate wiring harnesses.
H7 HID
The PIAA H7 kits are made with easy fit small tube bulbs and are available for many types of vehicles and motorcycle’s. Occasionally on some models the computer will display a warning light after installing these lights this is only in a few caes and can easily be turned off by the purchase off a patch kit designed for this task. Kits include two bulbs, two ballasts, two igniters and appropriate wiring harnesses.

3000k
This Conversion kit bulb gives a yellow color very like the color you would get from yellow fog lights. Expect a bulb life off over 3000hours and 4years for the ballasts.
This Conversion Kit gives an luminosity output rated at 3200 generating a white light and gives the best visibility range. To prevent the light turning yellowish after prolongled use a tiny bit of blue tint is added. Expect a bulb life off over 2500hours and 4 years for the ballasts.
This Conversion Kit has a lower luminosity output than the 5000k at 2800. This gives a Blue/White light which is still very good for driving just slightly less visibility than the 5000k but also gives that bit more style to the appearance. Expect a bulb life off over 2500hours and 4 years for the ballasts.
Generally the most popular ConversionK Kit as with it’s luminosity rating at 2400 it produces a blue light which illuminates the road in a light blue beam. This blue effect is the reason that most people prefer this kit over others.Expect a bulb life off over 2500hours and 4 years for the ballasts.
10000
This Conversion Kit has a low luminosity output which at 1800 gives a Blue/Purple light which will have everyone looking at your car. This Kit is more for showing off than for driving with a strong Blue/Purple colored beam. Expect a bulb life off over 2500hours and 4 years for the ballasts.
This conversion Kit has the same luminosity rating as the 10000k kit but the difference is that the beam does not contain any
blue instead it is a very bright purple. If you want to show your car this will surely get it noticed by everyone. Expect a bulb life off over 2500hoursand 4 years for the ballasts.

PHILIPS HID KITS
TYPES
These come in two versions each in two main sizes of 4300k or 6000k output.the first version is generally called the Plug and Play Kit in which the HID ballast plugs into the bulb socket off the light you are replacing. You then simply plug in the new Philips Light Bulbs and the installation is complete in less than 5 minutes. This type is inferior to the next as it uses the cars existing wiring which can in some cases be damaged by the extra power that the the HID bulb requires from the ballast as it is switched on. The second version comes with a wiring harness that allows you to take power direct from the battery and avoid having to touch the existing wiring altogether.
These Kits come complete and also have two different options for mounting the ballast. This can be done by using a mounting plate which can be bolted onto a suitable location or a strong velcro mounting which is easy to remove and install. Both off these options are included in all kits along with two bulbs, ballasts, instructions and wiring harness.
SIZES
4300K has an beam length output of approximately 3 times more than the equivilant halogen lamp with halogen illuminating up to 1000 metres and HID up to 3200 metres. The reflected off the road the light has a light yellowish hue othwise it is white in color the same as factory supplied lights.This lamp gives the best visibility for drivers especially when driving in unlit back roads or canyon’s. Philips recommend this size for normal road use.
6000K has a shorter beam length although it’s output is still approximately 3 times more than the equivilant halogen lamp with halogen illuminating up to 1000 metres and this HID up to 2800 metres. Although it has a bit lesser light output, it emits a purer white with no yellow reflectionand with a slight and barely noticeable tint of blue.

TYPES
These Philips Light Bulbs come in two versions the first version is generally called the Plug and Play Kit in which the HID ballast plugs into the bulb socket off the light you are replacing. You then simply plug in the new bulb and the installation is complete in less than 5 minutes. This type is inferior to the next as it uses the cars existing wiring which can in some cases be damaged by the extra power that the the HID bulb requires from the ballast as it is switched on. The second version comes with a wiring harness that allows you to take power direct from the battery and avoid having to touch the existing wiring altogether.
These Kits come complete and also have two different options for mounting the ballast. This can be done by using a mounting plate which can be bolted onto a suitable location or a strong velcro mounting which is easy to remove and install. Both off these options are included in all kits along with two bulbs, ballasts, instructions and wiring harness.
4300K has an beam length output of approximately 3 times more than the equivilant halogen lamp with halogen illuminating up to 1000 metres and HID up to 3200 metres. The reflected off the road the light has a light yellowish hue othwise it is white in color the same as factory supplied lights.This lamp gives the best visibility for drivers especially when driving in unlit back roads or canyon’s. Philips recommend this size for normal road use.
McCULLOCH KITS
McCulloch Hid Conversion kits come in two versions the single beam version or the Bi-Xenon. The Bi-Xenon is the option that gives you Hi and Lo beams so make sure you buy the correct one. These systems are designed to give the correct beam pattern to give the driver the best visibility while avoiding blinding other road users. A wiring harness is provided to ensure that the system operates smoothly as when switching on a Hid light a lot off power is used by the ballasts to start the bulbs. By using this supplied harness you will protect your cars electrical system and allow the lights to work at peak performance.

DRIVING LAMP KITS
600 HID
This powerful lamp has been designed to be light and durable enough to cope with racing as well as normal driving. This has been proven as many rally car drivers already prefer this unit to other makes.Roughly 5 inch in Diameter this lamp can easily be fitted to light bars or pods.
Options are to buy as a kit which comes with Two clear 12volt 35watt lamps, two ballast and ignitor sets, wiring harness, relay and switch or buy items separately as required.
930 HID
This kit is designed more with style in mind but still has a very powerful light powered by clear 12volt 35watt lamps. The style is low profile and sporty with glass lenses and a black housing made from aluminium. The full Kit Includes Two lamps, wiring harness, relays, ballast, and switch although each item can be purchased separately.
PIAA SHOCK LAMP
800 HID
This a powerful fully integrated lamp in which the ballast is built into the lamp so you just fit the lamp and give it a power supply. This is built for race use as it’s to bright to be used on a normal highway and comes in a 12V D2S 35 Watt HID version or a 12v 110 watt halogen version. The polyamide housing and unbreakable polycarbonate lens made this lamp resistant to all weather conditions and rough use. These lamps are sold individually and are mounted with a 12mm bolt through a centrally located mounting base.
HID CONVERSION KITS
H1 HID
The PIAA H1 HID Conversion Kit consists of two bulbs, two ballasts, two igniters and the appropriate wiring harnesses. Designed to be used in a wide range off vehicles from sports, suv’s and sedan’s.
H4 HID
The PIAA H4 HID Conversion Kit has the ability to provide the driver with a high and low beam function through the HID bulb with the same beam spread that effect you would get from a halogen bulb. In many other cheaper versions off high and low beam hids the bulb is moved with a solenoid which requires constant power when operating and can often cause power overload problems. This is not a problem with the piaa bulb as the system works through the bulb in a very effective way that keeps a constant power usage avoiding any excesssive power demands. Applications range from sports cars to full size trucks and SUV’s to motorcycles. All automotive kits include two bulbs, two ballasts, two igniters and the appropriate wiring harnesses.
H7 HID
The PIAA H7 kits are made with easy fit small tube bulbs and are available for many types of vehicles and motorcycle’s. Occasionally on some models the computer will display a warning light after installing these lights this is only in a few caes and can easily be turned off by the purchase off a patch kit designed for this task. Kits include two bulbs, two ballasts, two igniters and appropriate wiring harnesses.

Although it has a bit lesser light output, it emits a purer white with no yellow reflectionand with a slight and barely noticeable tint of blue.

This Conversion kit bulb gives a yellow color very like the color you would get from yellow fog lights. Expect a bulb life off over 3000hours and 4years for the ballasts.
This Conversion Kit gives an luminosity output rated at 3200 generating a white light and gives the best visibility range. To prevent the light turning yellowish after prolongled use a tiny bit of blue tint is added. Expect a bulb life off over 2500hours and 4 years for the ballasts.
This Conversion Kit has a lower luminosity output than the 5000k at 2800. This gives a Blue/White light which is still very good for driving just slightly less visibility than the 5000k but also gives that bit more style to the appearance. Expect a bulb life off over 2500hours and 4 years for the ballasts.
Generally the most popular ConversionK Kit as with it’s luminosity rating at 2400 it produces a blue light which illuminates the road in a light blue beam. This blue effect is the reason that most people prefer this kit over others.Expect a bulb life off over 2500hours and 4 years for the ballasts.
This Conversion Kit has a low luminosity output which at 1800 gives a Blue/Purple light which will have everyone looking at your car. This Kit is more for showing off than for driving with a strong Blue/Purple colored beam. Expect a bulb life off over 2500hours and 4 years for the ballasts.
This conversion Kit has the same luminosity rating as the 10000k kit but the difference is that the beam does not contain any blue instead it is a very bright purple. If you want to show your car this will surely get it noticed by everyone. Expect a bulb life off over 2500hoursand 4 years for the ballasts.
